FAQ
Taxi and Tide is a place for kids to use their imaginations and play! A space where children can work together as a team, dress up, play work, create, and have fun.
We offer 2 play areas filled with high quality toys that encourage open-ended play. We are also an event space and host birthday parties, and offer art supplies for use during our reserved open play sessions so children can create little art projects to take home with them.
Our play areas have an East Coast meets West Coast vibe -"Taxi" represents East Coast (New York) & "Tide" signifies the ocean tide of West Coast California.
We are located at 4016 S. Packard Avenue in St. Francis -- a quick 10 minute drive from Downtown Milwaukee via 794.
Yes, we have a parking lot. Please enter in through our front door, as the back doors will be locked.
There are a few stairs at the front entrance, so please call us upon arrival if you need wheelchair accessible entry through the back entrance.
We are not a kid's gym, and instead, we focus on imaginative play where kids can dress up, play work, and use loose parts to build and create.
Through Imaginative play, children can learn to:
Make sense of the world around them through role play
Increase their critical thinking skills, social skills, & language skills
Collaborate with others.
We know that a space without gross motor activities isn't for everyone, and some days kids just need a space to run around!
If you are looking for a kid's gym to get energy out, we recommend We Rock The Spectrum (Racine/Oak Creek)
